Sisterhood leaders and members have been busy preparing for this New Year of 5769 with our: Memorial Book, Congregation Directory, Oneg Circles, Gift Shop, High Holy Day Bima Flowers, Break-The-Fast, college packages, and cooking and baking for Deli Day. We thank all of our Sisterhood leaders: Jean Tinterow and Lauren Lentz for producing the Memorial Book; Mallory Medvene and Doris Weller for working with Joy on the Directory; Jana Hirschman for organizing the Oneg Circles; Julie Fruhauf for purchasing lovely new Judaica and turning our Gift Shop into a lovely, updated shop with creative Judaica merchandise for all ages (don’t forget discounts on Sundays during Religious School), Deborah Fromer for gathering donors for the lovely Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kipper Bima flowers; Annabelle O'Neil, Jene Fisher and Doris Weller for spearheading Break-the-Fast; Leah Barnhard, Terri Moses and their team for putting together college packages for holidays and Ellie Shore and Mallory Medvene for coordinating Deli Day and all the cooking chairs.
Each of those leaders could not function without the contributions of money and time that each of you Sisterhood members give now and throughout the year. Thank you to all you Sisterhood Members who say "yes" when we call you about our many projects to support Congregation Emanu-El and our families!! Each of you is very much appreciated!!
If you have not joined Sisterhood yet, by paying dues, it is not too late. Call Sunny Levy. And if you would like to be more active in our many Sisterhood projects, call Mallory Medvene, Sunny Levy or Doris Weller.
