All the classrooms now have a fresh new coat of bright paint on one wall. This is enhancing the learning environment for the children. Thanks to Julie Fruhauf for organizing this effort at CE and HC. Thanks to Kay Davis for helping to create the Resource Centers and for painting. And thanks to Joanna Bendell, Ellen Beren, Cyndie Ponder, Suzy Rieber, Betsy Redler and Leslie Greenberg for helping to paint and/or organize. Stop by to see the bright and cheerful classrooms!

The school year is well underway and the fall Jewish holidays have come and gone for the year. We enjoyed our first family education morning of the year for Sukkot. And now, our teachers are looking forward to delving further into teaching about Mitzvot, Tikkun Olam, Torah, Tzedakah, and Jewish Ethics and Values.

Our Hebrew Lab is working out nicely for the students in 3rd-7th grades. We welcome any members who are interested in volunteering their time to help tutor the students with their Hebrew. Please let me know if you are interested!
